Calciject 40+3
Calciject 40+3 is indicated in the treatment of hypocalcaemia/milk fever complicated by deficency of Magnesium.
A clear pale yellow aqueous solution for injection containing Calcium Borogluconate 40% w/v (equivalent to 2.96% w/v Calcium and 6.8% Boric Acid) and Magnesium Hypophosphite Hexahydrate 3% w/v (equivalent to 0.28% w/v magnesium and 0.71% w/v phosphorus).
Dosage and administration
By subcutaneous or slow intravenous injection. Cattle 150ml – 400ml
Contraindications, Warnings, etc
Warm the solution to body temperature before administration. Give intravenous injections slowly and stop on the first signs of adverse reaction. However, As intravenous administration of this product could cause death this route should only be used by a veterinary surgeon. Rapid intravenous injection may result in cardiac arrhythmias and in severely toxaemic animals collapse and death.

meat/milk – nil.
