YAKERS Original Dog Chew traces its roots back to the hills of the Himalayas, where this recipe has been enjoyed by both the Himalayan people and their dogs for generations. Your dog will love the taste and you will love how long it keeps them occupied.
Each chew is made from a blend of skimmed yak and cow’s milk, with a small amount of lime juice and salt added to harden the milk. The mixture is then compressed into blocks and smoke dried for 28 days, creating that unique flavour and satisfying long lasting chew.
The hard texture means your dog has to work at the chew, softening it gradually before breaking off small pieces. This keeps them happily entertained for longer and naturally helps to reduce plaque and tartar build up along the way.
Depending on your dog’s size and how enthusiastic a chewer they are, YAKERS can last a very long time. Choose the correct size for your dog to get the best from it.
Tip: Once your dog reaches the last small end piece, pop it in the microwave on high for 30 to 60 seconds until it puffs up. Allow to cool and give it back to your dog as a bonus treat.
