Description
Tramazole 10% w/v is a broad spectrum multi-purpose anthelmintic. It contains Albendazole 10% w/v and is for the control of mature and developing immature forms of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms and adult liver fluke in sheep and cattle. This product is ovicidal and will kill fluke and worm eggs, thus reducing pasture contamination.
Dosing guide
Cattle
Worms – (7.5mg Albendazole per kg) 7.5ml Tramazole per 100kg bodyweight
Fluke and worm dose – (10mg Albendazole per kg) 10ml per 100kg bodyweight
Sheep
Worm dose – (5mg Albendazole per kg) 1ml Tramazole per 20kg bodyweight
Fluke and Worm Dose: (7.5mg Albendazole per kg) 1.5ml Tramazole per 20kg bodyweight
Withdrawal
Cattle
Meat and offal – 14 days after last treatment
Milk – 60 hours after last treatment
Sheep
Meat and offal – 4 days after last treatment
Milk – Do not use in sheep producing milk for human consumption
Additional Information
Do not dose ewes at the “Fluke and Worm” dose rate of 7.5mg per kg bodyweight during tupping or for 1 month after removing the rams.
Tramazole 10% w/v can be safely used during lactation.
The use of this product in breeding bulls or pregnant cattle is not expected to interfere with their reproductive performance.
